I tried again to post the comment using my Google account, and it gave me this message: Your current account (email address) does not have access to view this page.
The problem seems to be a result of my setting the blog to have the comment form in the same page as the post. With it now in a pop-up page, you should be able to post with your Google Account. Give it a try sometime.
