Here's an arrangement of three turtles (we've got to speed this process up!) on the mantel. The pot came from a shop in Madrid, NM, that is run by the local artists who make the pieces. The pot's artist wasn't on duty that day.

Very pretty! Is that bit of tuquoise the pot-turtle is sitting supposed to represent a heart?
I'm surprised you got around to your turtle entry, what with the Jackson Memorial and all.
You find some realy interesting turtles. What is the material of the one on the right?
The turquoise on the pot is just a chunk of turquoise.
I don't know what stones the other turtles are made of. I wish I knew.
This post was scheduled before Mr. Jackson's untimely death. Poor Mr. Jackson.
