Turtle Tchotchke Tuesday

A Miocene turtle coprolite.
The information that came with it.

I hope we weren't had. This looks a lot like the pseudocoprolite in the pseudofossil article and is from the same area as that one.

Still, even if it isn't real turtle doo-doo, it's cool cuz it resembles a turtle itself!

Mombert, imagine the turtle's head is the lump to the right. The lumps on the top and bottom are legs. Turtle-ish, yes?

O.K., O.K. Now I can see some resemblancel I wal seeing those two orbs as eyes, and a little nose below.
